So here is a cute treat bag using the free Sale a Bration Designer Series Paper and Crushed Curry cardstock. It only uses a 6×6 piece so you could make 4 from one sheet of 12 x 12 with a bit of matching or contrasting cardstock. I saw this on a video and wrote down the instructions but didn’t make a note of whose website, so will give you the instructions as I wrote them down, so hopefully they will make sense. Using the scor board score one side at 1 1/4 and 4 3/4 inches turn 90 degrees and score again at 2 1/2 and 3 1/2.
Fold and burnish score lines ( but not too hard as it is paper). Then you will need to fold up the sides. Here is a picture of the fold you need to make 4 times.
Glue down the sides.
Cut 4 pieces of card. 2 pieces 1″ x 3 1/2 ” and 2 pieces 3/8″ x 6″. Score the two shorter pieces at 1/2″ on the short side fold and attach to the two tops of the bag with super sticky tape.
Punch 2 holes on each side and use a brad to attach the handle.
Punch a decorative label and score on either side of the point. Attach to one side between the handles with sticky strip. Attach magnets or Velcro to close handbag.
Make a flower by stamping and punching 3 petite petals flowers, shape with an embossing tool and glue in layers. Glue to the front of the label.
