Valentine's Day Card

image imageSo here is the Valentine’s Day card I have made for my other half. Several people have asked for the dimensions so here you go….

i used a 7 x7 prescored card base and added a square of real red (17.5cm square) I gutted the centre to use later.   I then cut a 17cm square of whisper white cardstock.  I used the hearts mask and sponged  through all over with pink pirouette, I then went over the bottom section with strawberry slush.  I removed the mask and stamped with the hearts stamp from the perpetual birthday stamp set using strawberry slush.  I matted this into the real red.

I cut a strip on whisper white 3cm wide and used the heart punch from the bitty accents to punch along the length.  I then trimmed it to 2.5 cm wide by 17cm and matted onto a piece of real red 17.5 x 3cm. Which I then mounted onto the card using foam pads.

I used a 4.5 inch square of stacked with love DSP and used the envelope punch board (punch and score at 2inches and then turn and use the score lines to punch and score, turn and repeat, turn and repeat.  I then cut a contrast piece of DSP to fit inside ( see photo) before folding to make an envelope.

image I used a piece of whisper white to make the card to go inside and stamped using the hearts, then cut the word using the new thinlets and used the crazy about you stamps and memento black ink.

I punched out a heart in real red and used the scalloped circle to punch around then a 1inch punched circle of diamond glimmer paper to finish.  I used a dimensional at the bottom and stuck onto the envelope.
