My husband loves sailing and we have had some fabulous holidays sailing around the Greek Islands with beautiful photos, do I thought I would make a little album to capture those memories.

 It is quite small at 5.5 x 4.5 inches but will hold 7 3.5 x 3.5 photos plus another 2 or 3 3inch x 4 inch photos in the pocket.

I started with 3 pieces of thick cardstock/chipboard.  Two 4.5x 5.5 and one 5.5 x 3/4.

i cut a piece of DSP 12x 7.5 inches and glued the chipboard like this.

 I scored the fold lines on the reverse too.

I then covered the inside with a piece of DSP 9 3/4 inches by 5 1/4 again scoring once attached on the fold lines either side of the spine.

The  waterfall photo flaps on the right were made by cutting a piece of card 4 x 5 1/8 which I attached.  I then cut  three flaps 4 x 4 1/2 inches and scored on the long side at 4 inches. I rounded the corners with the corner rounder punch.

These were then attached to the backing piece with red sticky tape, starting at the top and butting each fold to the bottom of the previous flap.

the flaps were covered with seven 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inch pieces of paper.

i then made a pocket for the left hand side using a 4 x4 inch pice of card scored at 1/2 inch on 2 sides which then fold under and attach.
