Christmas table pyramid favour

pyramid

So, like many of my fellow demonstrators I returned from Brussels having had a lovely time, but tainted by the awful events in Paris.  It was fabulous to meet up with so many like minded people and to have first sight of the lovely new products that will be arriving in spring.  As I have mentioned, when Stampin Up demonstrators get together, we all make swaps and come home with lots of inspiration.  This idea is one I came up with as both a swap and a make and take when I met up with friends just over a month ago.  I had intended to share sooner, but life at home has been a bit crazy as my OH has had his leg in plaster following an operation, so between that, work and shooting arrows ( I practice target archery with my youngest son who is far better than me!) I forgot.  I will do a video soon as it is easier to share the folding that way, but in  the meantime here are the instructions.  I filled mine with a wine glass charm and a kinder chocolate, but you could put all sorts of things inside.

Card 2 inches x 11-1/4

stamp and emboss using versamark and silver embossing powder.  I used the flurry of wishes stamp set.

score long at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 inches

Then score the diagonals as shown below

Pyramid table favour The dashed lines are just to show you where to score.  Then fold the first four sections like this

Then continue to fold and wrap like this….

until you end up with a pyramid.  Tuck the small tab in and secure with a glue dot if needed.
