Well I wasn’t due to post this on my blog just yet you were going to get some tags instead, but then I saw the Global Design Challenge on balloons, so decided to give it an early outing. This is a very simple twist on the easel card with a couple of simple steppers at the front to keep the easel in place.
Take a piece of A4 card, trim to 29 x 14.5
Score on the long edge at 14.5 cm
Score one half diagonally from the bottom middle score line to the top right hand corner, fold and burnish both the centre score line and the diagonal and fold up as shown in the picture above
Cut card 14.5 x 14.5 and attach to front
I used a layer of It’s my Party DSP 14 x 14cm and a panel of whisper white 13.5 x 8.5 cm
I stamped the sentiment using Melon Mambo ink and used the decorative label to cut it out and then cut a second panel for inside the card. I added a stamped and punched balloon on dimensionals for the stopper.
I hope you enjoy this and all of the other designs using balloons
you can find them all HERE
