Hope you are all well. I love treating my friends and family, but given that lots of chocolate isn’t good, I sometimes just give a treat size chocolate. Ferroro are ideal for this as they are individually wrapped and also beautifully indulgent – not to mention very pretty in the gold and chocolate wrapping. So I thought I would share with you some of the fun ways you can dress up a single Ferrero Rocher (other chocolates are available – also works for Lindor Balls – my particular favourite!) . This could of course be used for table decorations for any occasion – just adapt the colours to suit.
So here in true Stampin’ Up! tradition alliteration is required – hence Ferrero Friday!
The top and bottom of the box is made from the smallest of the Deco Labels (130102 )
I cut 2 x labels from Chocolate Chip Card 108599which I thought was a great match to the colour of the wrapper and I stamped and embossed both using Flowering Flourishes 126367 and Gold Embossing Powder 109129. On one label I embossed both sides.
Strip of card 5.5 x 15
Score short at 1 and 5 cm
Score long side at 3.5, 7, 10.5 and 14
Notch out the bottom tabs at 45 degrees
Cut away all except one tab on the top – retaining the strip for later use
Fold up and glue the side and then glue the four tabs to the centre of the deco label which was embossed on both sides.
Attach the second label to the single tab.
Use a glue dot to attach a magnet to the inside of the box and adhere the second magnet to the strip, trimming round the magnet to shape the end. Fold over the lip of the box and attach to the underside of the lid with more glue dots, trimming away any excess to fit the lid.
I have been asked about where to get the magnets, they are neodymium magnets which are available on EBay, or I get them HERE from Spider magnets, who also ship abroad.
