This is a second card using the Botanical Gardens Range. It uses similar scoring to the upright diamond fold card I made HERE
Another card that folds flat for posting – but the reason for the name is that it springs up when removed from the envelope. The centre panel is also a good size to write your greeting on the reverse.
The paper is the Botanical Blooms DSP 140583 which matches the Botanical Blooms Framelits 140625 that I have used for the flowers and leaves. The stamp set 140757 Botanical Blooms enables you to stamp veins/leaves/flower centres onto the DSP to truly customise your paper. The stamp set, paper and framelits come as a bundle so you can save 15% on the individual price 140819
Card 5 ½ x 11
Score long edge at 5 ½,8 ¼
Mark top and bottom at 2 ¾
Score diagonally from the top mark to the bottom of the score line at 7 ¾
Score diagonally from the bottom mark to the top of the score line at 7 3/4
Mark the centre of the left hand edge and draw a line from that point to the score marks a quarter of the way to the right, top and bottom.
These are the cutting lines (solid lines on the diagram below)
Cut along the pencil lines to create a point
Crease and fold score lines as shown
M = mountain fold
V= valley fold
If everything was creased in the correct direction, it should fold up perfectly. A little bit of adhesive was added under the front point on the bottom to get it to stay upright
To decorate:
DSP two pieces 3 ¾ x 3 ¾ ” cut one in half diagonally for the spring fold sections
For flat section 5 ¼ x 2 ½ (adhere before gluing point in place
WW card for stamping 3 ½ x 3 ½
