Sunday Scoring #15 Fold Flat Centre Step Card

As I have two boys and a husband,  I have to come up with masculine cards on a regular basis.  Like many of us, this can be tricky, but I found that this stamp set and papers made it much easier.  I always try to make cards that fold flat for posting but have some dimension too, so this one fits the bill.  I originally saw this on www.astampingjourney.wordpress.com but adapted the measurements to suit UK paper sizes with the minimum of waste.

So here’s a masculine card using the Going Global stamp set and the co-ordinating 6 x 6 inch paper stack

Base card (I used Old Olive) 10.5 x 27 cm (4-1/8 x 10-5/8)

Score long edge at 15, 18, 23 and 26 cm (6, 7-1/8; 9; 10 inches)

Cut a piece of DSP:

10.1cm x 9.6 cm (4 x 3-3/4 inches)

I cut a panel of Whisper White card for the reverse of 10.1 x 14.6 cm (2-3/4 x 4-3/16)

The front panel (Delightful Dijon) is 7.5 x 15cm (3 x 6 inches) Scored on the length at 1/2 inch and 1-9/16

DSP for the front panel is 8.1 x 10.6 cm (2-3/4 x 4-3/16)

The globe was stamped on Very Vanilla and punched out using the 2 inch circle punch with the 2 3/8 circle punch used for a layer of Delightful Dijon behind.

  1. I loved your card and have made three today but using The Open Seas stamps and dsp instead. Thanks for the inspiration!
