hi everyone, just a quick post to share a couple of projects I’ve been working on to show that stamp lung hasn’t got yo be limited to cardmaking or scrapbooking. You can use it in home decor or art too. The first is a really useful storage box for my desk and is for a class at the end of June.
It opens on a hinged lid and I decorated the inside too
It uses one of the new in colours as well as the co-ordinating DSP…love and affection. If you can’t make it to my Warwickshire class, then the pencil box, cutting instructions, stamp set and DSP are available to order as a kit.
The second project was a bit of fun to keep my family from disturbing me….
The mdf shape was painted with some paper artsy fresco paint, then I added some flirty flamingo to the paint and sponged around the edges. When dry I stamped the leaves and butterflies. I coloured the paper with the same ink/paint mix before stamping my words. I stamped the butterflies and cut out, them sponged some of the paint/ink mix on to kerb the colour tone. The new foam strips were great to lift these up. Some crystal effects on the butterflies to finish and I’m all done 🙂
Have you enjoyed these? More on their way over the coming weeks if you would like.
crafty hugs
Heidi
