So you are back for more Sunday Scoring? This is another in my fancy fold series, I made this sample a while ago for a display of fancy folds, but recently we had a discussion on what it was called and some also called it a Snapdragon. I particularly like this one as it will stand up once the belly band is removed, it folds flat for posting, but could also hold a gift card or other flat gift. I love red, black and white as I think it looks so striking, especially with the contrast of the floral and striped DSP, but you could use all sorts of colours.
To make the large card, to start you need an 11inch square piece of card. So cut a 12 inch square of card to 11 x 11”
Score at 2 ¾, 8 ¼ rotate 90 degrees and repeat
Using the diagonal scoring plate, score diagonally at 5 ½ , 8 ¼ rotate and repeat on all four sides. If you don’t have this plate, then use a ruler and stylus or your stampin Trimmer to score the diagonals as I show in my video
Fold and burnish all score lines
Fold up 4 sides (to form box shape
Push middle points of each side into the centre and fold corners back on themselves
Burnish folds well
Fully open it looks like this
DSP
One piece 5 x 5 inches, cut into 4 pieces diagonally
Two pieces 4 ¾ x 4 ¾ cut each into 4 diagonally and then each in half (16 triangles)
Belly band 2 x 12”, DSP for front 1 ¾ x 5 3/8
Panel for interior 5 ¼ x 5 ¼
For my first sample I used the Groovy Love Stamp set, which is just about to retire, but for the second sample I have used Papillon Potpourri and the lovely Bermuda Bay.

Heidi, I love this card. I also love a bunch of your other projects. I subscribed to your YouTube channel so I won’t miss any videos! Can you post the measurements for the smaller 8×8 card that you did in the video? I see the ones listed are for the 12×12 size. This way I can follow along and make as you make it (will have all my pieces prepped ahead)! Thanks again for sharing your talent with all of us.
