Bearing in mind that I started planning this series in January this year, I had no idea what would be retiring and sadly the bitty accents punches were part of the retiring list. However there are other ways to decorate, so my second sample shows what I have used from the new catalogue that should tempt you.
Now the milk carton is not new and there are lots of instructions, this one is of course sized for a single Ferrero – and it is a snug fit! However this size is also perfect for packaging other gifts such as jewellery.
Materials
Whisper White card 6 x 4-1/8 inches
Pop of Pink DSP
Punches 1″ circle ; 1-1/4 inch circle
Stamp Set: One Big Meaning
Instructions
To make the box, cut your card to 15 x 10.5cm (6” x 4 1/8 inches)
Score long at 3.5, 7, 10.5, 14 (1 3/8, 2 ¾ , 4 1/8 , 5 ½ inches)
Score short at 3.5, 7, 9.5 (1 3/8, 2 ¾ , 3 ¾ , inches),
Cut up bottom score lines (widest panel) and notch out the two side flaps
Cut away top and bottom narrow pieces and glue along edge
Fold up base and glue
Pinch together top and cut a notch in either side with ribbon to seal closed
The front panel was decorated with DSP 3 x 3 cm (1 1/8 x 1 1/8 inches). I stamped a sentiment in Old Olive onto Very Vanilla using the stamp set and punched out using the 1 inch punch, I then punched a 1-1/4 inch circle from Old Olive and glued to the sentiment, then mounted it using a dimensional. A few rhinestones added a welcome bit of sparkle. A small square of English Gardens DSP and the front was finished.
As always you can buy your Stampin Up Supplies from me HERE or by contacting me by phone or email….or of course snail mail!
