I have to admit that when I made my sample, I had to use another brand other than Stampin Up for the largest scalloped circle, so I was delighted to see the new layered circles appear in the 2016 catalogue as they are perfect for this technique. I thought I would share my original with you, as I was really pleased with the overall effect – although it uses a range of papers and stamps that are retired….but the best bit about new products is that they make something look so different….
So here is the original card
To make this card you will need: 5 dies in descending order of size
Largest die – cut one from card
Next die – one from DSP and one from contrast card
Next die – 2 from Whisper White for stamping on and one from another contrast card
Next die one from card
Smallest die – one from Whisper White for stamping on
Love this idea. Are the circles joined with brads? What stamp sets did you use?
Yes, brads just the same as the squares version, the stamp set for this is the now retired summer silhouettes, but a similar effect could be gained with botanical blooms
Thank you. I like the sentiment in that set… I’ll make it using some of the current stamps and maybe the new IC’s. You always do such neat things.. Thank you!
