Sunday Scoring Double Diamond Fold

Hi everyone back again with another Sunday Scoring and this time it is based on a card fold that my lovely friend Hannah McCurley has on her blog HERE

This card is so versatile as you could adapt it for many different occasions  and it stands up beautifully but fits into a standard envelope.  As you will see in the video I used the Watercolour Wings Stamp set to stamp the butterflies and then used the detailed thinlets from the Butterfly thinlets and Bold Butterflies to cut out the images.  These are then layered on top of solid Vellum butterflies.

Materials

Card for base 10 x 4 inches (Watermelon Wonder)

Centre Panel 1 piece each of Dapper Denim  2 ¾ x 2 ¾ and Very  Vanilla 2-1/2 x 2-1/2

Side panels two pieces each of Dapper Denim  1¾ x 1 ¾  and Very Vanilla 1-1/2 x 1-1/2

Instructions

Card 10 x 4

Score long side at 2 and 8” making a mark at 4 and 6” on both sides

Score on the short side at 2”

On the long side mark mark the card on the 2” score line at 3 and 7”

Join the marks to form a diamond shape in the centre of the cardstock

Your piece of card should look like this
