Back again with another sunday Scoring card. This time I’ve gone green. I do find it a tranquil colour – but don’t use it that often. I’ve just used three inks for this card, Crumb Cake, Garden Green and Wild Wasabi, but by stamping a second time without re-inking your stamp, you can get some lovely variations in shade – perfect for leaves. I stamped and die cut the tree top and then used the die to cut another solid green to go behind, so you get more dimension. I fumbled about a bit in my video with my glueing – but hopefully you’ll see that it all comes together.
This set is only available for the month of August 2016 (shop HERE) but is a fabulously versatile set, which you can also buy with coordinating thinlets to cut out the various elements. The stamp set can be used to create trees as you can see here – or with a change of colour – it makes a great flower head too. The thinlets include both tree trunk and flower stem with leaves so it makes it really easy.
Materials
Single piece of A4 card – I used Whisper White – off cuts of WW for stamping sentiment, tree top and trunk, and Wild Wasabi for layer and for tree top

Rather than try and explain it in words – I have produced two diagrams, one in inches and one in cms…does this format work for you? Is it easier than me typing in the measurements? Let me know what you think 🙂
Anyway – back to the grindstone of sorting out my holiday clothes…yes I’m off on my travels again soon ! This time I am going away to Florida with my youngest son – exciting adventure for us – but hubby is being left at home as he is training for a new job. I don’t think he minds missing the theme parks, but I think the second section of our holiday when we are exploring around St Pete Beach and Clearwater is more his scene. Anyway – I’m hopefully all set up with my posts while I am away and will come back refreshed and with a notebook full of ideas to share.

Hello, and thank you for the video today. I have to admit I don’t buy from you, but have tried this out & somehow got it wrong. My card looks ok, but doesn’t fold flat. Perhaps I got confused by the instructions. Did you say there was a diagram to help, if so please how do I access it. X Jean.
Ive added the inches diagram for you, hope this helps
