A pretty little box today that is quick and simple to make.  It had to be as I was rushing to get everything finished and posted while I am off on my hols!  These were made as a thank you for a great friend who has been helping me plan my holiday and went with a lovely candle in a jar that I spotted too ( a video of the box for that will be coming soon!)

Materials

DSP 10.5 x 17.5cm

Scraps of white and colour for punching

Floral punch ( I used the tree builder punch)

I inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches or equivalent framelits

Instructions

Score long edge at :3.5, 7. 10.5, 14

Score short at: 3.5, 7

Notch out tabs as shown

Use a circle punch to punch a semi circle out of the end flap that will be the front lid

Fold up and glue bottom three sections then close lid over the top and glue tabs.  the decoration on the top is made using a 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circles and the flower is from the Tree Builder punch, with either a pearl or rhinestone in the centre.

Quick and easy and lovely in any DSP you happen to have about (yes DSP is for using not just stroking! 🙂 )
