Well it has been a pretty emotional week – I was manically busy preparing my eldest son for University, delivered and settled him in safely, waved goodbye…well it was more him saying ‘off you go now Mum’ ‘I’ll be fine’ ‘Don’t put stuff away, I’ll never find it’ 🙂 Anyway, I coped very well – until his younger brother burst into tears! Well we left – did some retail therapy at Cheshire Oaks and finally got home tired and exhausted.
Back to work on Monday, only to get a call from the landscape gardener to say ‘I think your cat has died’ Yes, low and behold, my lovely geriatric 17 ½ year old cat Nala, had decided it was time to go. She had been fading for a few weeks and was spending a lot of time in the garden sleeping, but had been bright the previous couple of days and had put on some weight too. Still she seemed to have gone in her sleep – leaving me to make sure I was home before my younger son got back from school. So another emotional day for us all! So RIP to my lovely Nala…this is her asleep on my sofa a few weeks ago
Still on with the crafting
A quick and easy double Ferrero holder using the Envelope Punch Board.
I used Painters Palette Paper 5 ¾ x 5 ¾
Punch and score at 2 3/8 and 4 3/8 on the first side
Turn and punch and score on the first line, but punch only on the second
Repeat these two steps
Trim up the tabs and glue side tabs in place and use classic label as a bar with ½ a dimensional on each end
Tuck flap into bar to close, stamp and layer a sentiment
Quick to make and looks very different if you use other colours – I thought the bright and funky paper worked well.
Back to the day job….the good news is it is Friday, so I get to craft tomorrow 🙂

Sorry you have had a rubbish week. But here’s where your Ferrero project really pays off. I suggest you stuff yourself with however many Ferreros you have lying around and then sit back and wait for the chocolate to do its magic. Wine would probably speed up the process too. The boxes are really cute, by the way!
Thanks for the suggestion!
