Ferrero Friday Tiny Winged Cube box

Hello again – can you believe another week has passed?  Apparently it is only 12 weeks to Christmas..yikes – I usually have at least made a list by this point – but not this year.  Mind you, I don’t know about you, but it seems to get harder to buy presents each year.  Although I think I am easy…Stampin’ Up! although this year I am hoping to have a craft shed built in the garden, so it might be things to get that up to standard!  Although as I haven’t even ordered it yet, I am probably being a bit premature.

Still back to the crafting.  This is a version of one of my early projects, I have seen it CASEd all over the web, but thought it would be perfect to resize

So to make the box

Card 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 (10.5 cms) score on all four sides at 1 3/8 (3.5 cms)

Lids – two pieces 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (7 cms) Score at 1 3/8 (3.5 cms) and turn once and score again

Trim away three corners winged_cube_box_lid

Cut as shown in the video

DSP for the lids two pieces 2 1/2 inches square (6.3 cms) and cut into four diagonally

I used the Paisleys and Posies range to decorate, taking my choice of base colour from the colours in the paper.  This is a great range as there is a trio of ribbons that also match with it – in Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron.

A new video for the smaller size is HERE

Hope you
