I am privileged to have been asked to take part as a guest demo in the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop this month. I met Louise last year when I visited Brussels as part of the Stampin’ Up demonstrator event called ‘On Stage’ where we meet up, have business presentations, get our hands on new goodies and generally have a great time being with like minded people.
So I was given the theme of Trees and Leaves….. luckily for me, I recently purchased the Vintage Leaves set and co-ordinating dies and given that it feels really autumnal here now, I thought some home decor to reflect the season would be a good idea. The stamps are really detailed and with the co-ordinating dies, cutting out is a cinch.
The candle is housed in a glass jar, so there is no chance of it catching fire….although one always has to be safety aware and you wouldn’t leave this burning unsupervised!
The inks are all the lovely autumnal colours, Cajun Craze, Rose Red, Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke, and the leaves are all stamped in Soft Suede. I sponged the colour on first and then when it was dry stamped and die cut the leaves, before sponging with soft suede again around the outside edge.
Thank you for visiting.
