Well I had to make this one bigger as otherwise the tag topper closure wouldn’t work – so I guess the recipients will have to force down a second Ferrero! The great thing about the run up to Christmas in the UK is that all the big supermarkets seem to have the boxes of assorted Ferrero on offer, so I can vary it with Raffaello and Ferrero. I love the colours in the Petals and Paisleys Designer Series Paper 142017 and especially the ribbon trio pack 142021 that co-ordinates with it (even if I cannot remember the names when I am videoing!) . The mix of florals and geometric patterns makes it easy to make masculine or feminine cards and gifts. You will have seen me use the tag topper punch for a card closure HERE which is what inspired me to make a box using the punch as a closure on that too. I’m sure lots of other people have used it in a similar way, but I was please with how the double Ferrero size worked.
The Thoughtful Banners 141614 and co-ordinating Duet Banner Punch 141483 is becoming one of my go-to stamp and punch sets, it is so full of sentiments for almost every occasion, and the punch makes it easy to create an accent to finish off a gift.
The great thing about this box is that you get two from a sheet of A4 cardstock too!
So dimensions are:
Materials
Card 6 1/2 inches x 8 1/4 (13.5 cm x 19 cm)
Instructions
Score long at 1 3/8, 2 3/4, 5 1/2, 6 7/8 inches (3.5, 7, 12, 15.5 cm)
Score short at 3/4, 3 1/8, 4 1/2, 5 7/8 inches (1.5, 5, 8.5, 12 cm)
Cut away outer three squares on each corner and cut up to the score line on the long edge to make three tabs
Fold the tabs in and line up with the middle of the tag topper punch and punch both ends.
Make up the box and you are ready to fill and tie with ribbon
