So in my house I am surrounded by three men – plus a male dog and cat…so I guess I have to put my mind to masculine cards more often than some, but I have to say it is easy with this new stamp and die set. There are lots of pop up cards on the net ( or on Pinterest!) but this is my take on one, inspired by the stamp set itself (called Nailed it) and also by a great big red tool chest that lives in the shed! In terms of dimensions I also wanted one that would fit into a standard 4 x 6 envelope.
I created the tools using two different techniques. The first one i stamped and die cut and then used an aqua painter to use ink to colour the tools, for the one on my video, I chose to stamp and die cut on coloured cardstock and use paper piecing to create the tool ( I then added some painted highlights). I think they are both effective and it is all down to personal preference, but interesting to see how different they look.

Dies Build it
Card Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White

I used the Cookie Cutter punch for the drawer knobs, but any small circle punch would work – there are similar size circles in the owl builder punch
