So I saw a fan fold card on Sue Campfield’s Blog HERE, which gave the idea for this version of the card. As you will see from the video, I put the card layers in two different places…and I probably prefer the positioning from the video.
It’s an easy card to make and would suit any similar image. The watercolouring is easy to do with the Stampin’ Up Watercolour paper and the ink from the top of the inkpads, and with very little effort you can make a really pretty card.
Card:
Two pieces for the card Base:
Front piece: 5 ¾ x 7 inches (14.85 x 17.5 cm) Score long edge at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 inches (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 cm)
Concertina fold starting with a mountain fold
Second piece: 5 ¾ x 4 (14.85 x 10.5 cm) Adhere to small tab at the back of the concertina (after the last valley fold)
Watercolour Paper 2 7/8 x 4 1/8 (7 x 10.5 cm)
Cut into three panels 1 3/8 along the length(3.5 cm)
Layers
Card: Three pieces in a contrast colour to the card base 1 ¾ x 4 inches
Three pieces the same colour as the concertina 3 1/8 x 1 5/8
Tempting Turquoise for reverse of card 5 ½ x 3 ¾
Whisper White for reverse of card for sentiment 5 ¼ x 3 ½
Panel for front – 5 ½ x ¾ inch

Card 14.5 x 17.5 cm
Score 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 , 12.4, 15 cm
Panel for back 14.5 x 10.5
Watercolour paper 10.5 x 7.5
Cut into three pieces 3.5 cm along the long edge

Three pieces the same colour as the concertina 4 x 8 cm
