Curve Sided Box as Guest Designer on SplitCoastStampers

So I am honoured to be a guest stamper with Splitcoaststampers this week and so I am delighted to share a version of my curved sided box that is similar to one I produced for one of my online classes.  The tutorial for this version can be found HERE on the Splitcoaststampers website with step by step photos and of course there is the usual video on YouTube too.  I have used their tutorial resource for inspiration many times over the years and for anyone starting out it is a great place to go for tutorials.

I have used a bit of old and new on this project – firstly the lovely dragonfly dreams stamp and die set for those gorgeous dragonflies and bumble bees (don’t forget to get them at a 10% discount at a bundle if you buy before 31st May)

The box is a really good size and reusable too as the top closure stays closed on its own.  It’s a bit unconventional with the use of a dinner plate – but hey I see crafty stash all over my house!  I’m not sure whether I prefer the label flat on the front or round the corner – but its a bit of fun either way and totally optional – or customisable to your event/recipient.  Of course this would look lovely with flowers or butterflies too…lots of options 🙂 The bees are from Dragonfly Dreams and flowers are from the new  Daisy Delight set with of course the new incolours….so pretty…but I felt that the large daisy would have been a bit big to have on each of the interlocking leaves, hence the die cut dragonflies, although I am going to have a play with this to try and get an interlocking flower to work…watch this space!

Oh well – off to work on some more projects for you…

    1. Mwah! thank you….I haven’t seen one either – so hope it is unique to me 🙂 I did a version with a closing lid for one of my classes which went down really well too – but this is different proportions.
