This is a bit of a random inspiration for this card….it was inspired by a Facebook feed decorating some breeze blocks to make a corner patio planter! I was thinking about some sort of flower based card that would also fold reasonably flat for posting/giving, Then I watched the video with breeze blocks and pop…here it is. I love that this folds flat to fit in an envelope and then is freestanding – in fact it would make a lovely all year round decoration….I can see me remaking this with lots of colour variations – my ladies were so pleased when I showed them this that they have asked to make it in their next session.
There is a fair amount of stamping and punching to make all the flowers, but I found that if I cut my A4 card lengthways into strips it made it easy to stamp and economical with the card. I’ve gone for Marguerite type flowers on this card, but the use of some of our fabulous colours would soon change this up to Gerberas…or with a bit of trimming perhaps some Echinaceas.
