So this is a variation on the reverse gatefold card (or is there a different name for this?) This is another creation from one of my archery field days – where I decided to keep the fancy fold simple and focus on the stamping and colouring instead. It was so therapeutic to just sit and colour. I had a change of stamping colour for this project too, I decided to stamp in Sahara Sand rather than Memento Black, to give a softer effect and as I was using my blender pen, I didn’t mind the blending of the pink and brown, it just made it feel softer all over. The leaves were stamped and coloured in Old Olive which I was happy worked well with the pieces of Eastern Palace DSP in Lemon Lime Twist – all set on a base of Flirty Flamingo pink. The same set was used on the reverse.
If you have the punch then the flowers are easy to punch out – but with the simple shape you could also hand cut. In the video you will see how I shaped the flowers to give a little more realistic shaping.
