How about his for a pretty way to present some stationery? It’s a variation on the diamond box that has been around for a while, but I loved how it fitted these copper coloured stationery. I think in retrospect I prefer the berry burst version, perhaps that’s just because I love the colour so much! The label is using the new Label punch and Label me Pretty Stamp set.
It is a quick and easy box to make and works well in both cms and inches.
8-1/4 x 8-1/4 (21 x 21 cm).
Score one side at 2, 4, 6 8 inches (5, 10, 15 and 20 cms
With the short section at the top, Score second side from the top to the second score line and from the bottom up to the 4th score line at 2, 4, and 6 inches (and all the way top to bottom at 8 inches (5, 10, 15 cms and all the way at 20 cm~)
Score the diagonals
Stamp the middle sections (with the diagonal scoring) and trim away as in the video.
Stamp the lid.
Fold and burnish all score lines.
Cut a 7 cm (2 3/4 inches x 11 3/4 ) x 29.7 cm strip of card and stamp 4 daisies. Punch all four and trim down two of them
Shape and layer – off-setting. Add a faceted gem to the centre
I hope you enjoy making – I think I might make other versions of this in different sizes – let me know if you are interested….
