In case you hadn’t worked it out already…. I do like a fancy fold! The vast majority have been around for ages – but I find they always look so different when you use a different stamp set, coloured card or Designer Series Paper (DSP)
This one is no exception. It looks a lot more complicated than it is, but always brings a smile to the recipients face. It also shows off the reverse of the paper – so often on a project I only get to showcase one side – this time you get a peek at the reverse too.
This quirky little bird has a great sentiment and the colouring was done using my watercolour pencils, with a little aquapainter to blend (covers a multitude of sins!) Colouring is not my forte, but I think this has worked. The flowers were quick to colour in (if a little blotchy)
With the card layers and insert it is quite bulky, so I recommend a ribbon tie to hold it together for posting.
I am still loving the freshness of the Lemon Lime Twist with Berry Burst!

what is this fold called? it’s very interesting.
I call it an explosion card, not sure what others call it
Do you have a video on this card?
I haven’t done yet, but will do if there is interest
Heidi, this is such a clever card. Are you sharing how to make it? Debie from sunny California
Certainly if there is enough interest
