KISS Keep it Simple Saturday – Pootler Swaps

So a few weeks agao,  I met up with 43 people from the team for a crafting retreat, as well as preparing and delivering a one sheet wonder class to them all, I got to craft and also meet up with old friends and make some new ones too.  When we demonstrators get together, we make swaps, so we go to an event with a stack of the same items, but come home with a range of different ones.  It is a great way to get together and chat as well as seeing what other people create with stamp sets….and inevitably you see a stamp set that you had overlooked and just HAVE to buy 🙂

So for my swap, I wanted to make something using just a single stamp set but that could be put together in a very short amount of time – after all we all have to make cards at short notice sometimes.  I thought that this would make a lovely gift tag for a wedding gift with the blushing bride and sahara sand combination.  I stamped and punched the bells from the centre of the Blushing Bride layer to make the most of my card stock 🙂

This stamp set is great for celebrations – and this could easily be made into a Christmas Card with a change of colours – or personalised with the names of the bride and groom, or would make a great centre panel on an embossed background as the main card..add a layer of many possibilities to step it up (‘step it up’ is the phrase demonstrators use to describe adding extra layers/detail to a card)

See you soon
