Well I don’t really do Halloween much these days now that the boys are more grown up – and even when they were younger is was mainly pumpkin carving, neighbour trick or treating and the occasional party – however, I do still get them an occasional sweet and I though the test tubes were so cute I couldn’t resist decorating them up a little – especially with the cat punch, and look how well the starburst punch layers with the 2 inch punch – I love a quick and easy layer – both for cards and 3D items. These cats were punched from the Spooky Night DSP, but the stamp set has the cat face on, so you could have any colour cat you want! These are so quick and easy to make using just a strip of card and some punches. The 3/4 inch punch is a perfect fit for the test tube. The cat punch is not just for Halloween either -you could change up the colours or try painting the punched image for any feline loving friends, as I said in my video – you could even fill the test tube with cat treats,….but that might be going a bit overboard! Tic Tacs come in such a range of flavours and one container fills a test tube with just a few left over….cannot imagine what I might do with the leftovers! I might have a look for some of the mini jelly beans that have odd flavours in …then the sentiment would be even more appropriate!
Anyway – they are simple to make – so enjoy
Measurements ar 6 x 1 3/4 inches (15.5 x 4.5 cm) Use a 3/4 inch punch to punch a hole in both ends
I used a 2 inch punch and the starburst punch for the layers – along with the cat punch and Spooky Night Stamp set

Heidi, I love this design! It is so cute and simple. I have been struggling over whether I was going to make a test tube holder treat for my classes and most I have seen are more work than I wanted to do for multiples. This one is perfect for mass producing 🙂 . Thank you!
