So apologies for the lateness of this post – with my blog issues last week, I didn’t spot that I had lost the content for this -so although my video went live there was no accompanying post – well I’ll remedy this now.
Here’s a versatile little box that uses the new Everyday Label on the front edge to create a decorative edge – and that uses the corner of the punch to give a pretty finish. I rarely use magnets on the products I sell (to avoid any issues of danger young children, pacemakers etc but I do find that sometimes they are by far and away the best way to keep a box closed – velcro just doesn’t do it for me !
I also wanted to show that although the Spooky Night DSP has lots of Hallloween themed designs – the reverse is covered with patterns that could be used in everyday situations. I love that it uses Very Vanilla as the accent colour too – White can be a little stark.
The cat punch is adorable when combined with the paper, but is very versatile if punched out of card. If you pop back on Sunday I will have some variations of it to use on a card too!
So if you would like to make one of these – here are the dimensions…..
Card 6-5/8 x 5-1/2 (17.2 x 14 cm)
Score long at 1 1/8, 2 1/2, 3-7/8, 5-1/4 (3 cm, 6.5, 10, 13.7)
Score short at 1 3/8, 4 1/8 (3.5, 10.5 cm)
Layers 2-1/2 x 1-1/8
