How about these for a fun box? they are really not difficult and the Year of Cheer DSP does all the hard word for you!  I think these could be used for all sorts of gifts – if it’s a heavy gift then you might want to tape closed at the base – but for light gifts they are fine – I think I might even try to resize for hanging on the tree or for a smaller table favour.

The video shows the smaller box but the taller one is made in just the same way.
