So this is a technique and a kind of fancy fold all in one card!  loved this stamp set when I received it and wanted to add some colour in a more subtle way but at the same time have a double layer.

Stamp Set:

Card: whisper White, Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Glossy Cardstock; Vellum cardstock

Inks: Staz on

Other: Ink Refills in Blushing Bride and Marina Mist; Rubbing Alcohol, cotton balls; embossing tool

Card base 29 x 10 cm ( 5 3/4 x 4 inches)

Layers

Create the polished stone background

Stamp the butterfly in Stazon onto the vellum

On the reverse of the vellum create some texture using the embossing tool and colour using Stampin Blends

Cut out the vellum butterfly and attach in the centre of the coloured glossy cardstock

Cut out the glossy butterfly

Attach to the card and raise the wings of the vellum butterfly
