Helloooo…Another quick and simple card today – this time it is showcasing the beautiful new Nature’s Poem DSP. The card uses minimal supplies as it uses just two 1 inch circles of each piece of DSP – so whether it is new DSP or existing stash, you can get lots of cards from your DSP stash! And if you are a demonstrator like me – it is a lovely way to showcase all the new patterns on a single card front. Of course if you have circle dies rather than punches you will just build up your muscles a bit more 🙂
I’ve used a narrow border of 1/8 of an inch rather than 1/4 inch to complement the narrow border on the scallop circle. You would achieve a similar effect when using cms by having a 3mm difference.
I have some friends who are not keen on Soft Suede, but I have to admit I rather like the earthy/woody tones, and it combines beautifully with both returning Mint Macaron and the new Grapefruit Grove colours – both of which are in the DSP colour range….of course not forgetting Blackberry Bliss! Although I am not sure my hands are quite ready for the staining! It is one of those colours that no matter how careful I am I seem to end up wearing it for days!
So the DSP and leaves trinkets will be available in the new catalogue from 1 June…as a demonstrator I can order lots of the new products already – and if you join now you can too! Just give me a call or drop me a line if you want to know more
In the meantime – back to the drawing board to plan some more projects and my next lot of classes
When you place your order don’t forget to use the hostess code to get your share of hostess rewards 🙂
