Well today sees the launch of a brand new annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue and that also means 5 brand new in colours.  In fact there are a whole load more new colours this year, but for today I thought I would introduce you to the In colours, as these will only be with us for the next two years.  This year they are lovely bright primary colours (well almost primary) but although I was a bit shocked by the brightness of some to start off with, now I am working with them they add a beautiful pop of colour to lots of projects….but this project is simply about colour…no stamping….no ink…just cutting with some punches and card stock.

This card would suit lots of kids who love their construction bricks (yes Lego is a brand and others are available 🙂 ) but actually I have a teenager who loves some of their more advanced projects (VW Camper Van at Christmas!)

To make the measurements work in inches the card base is slightly shorter than normal, but still fits in a standard Stampin’ Up! Envelope. The new mini dimensionals are perfect for adhering the ½ inch punched circles to the blocks, but it also works with standard dimensionals cut in half – or being frugal using the trim from around the edge.
