Angled side gift bag

Well  I love a gift bag – but I do find that sometimes you are a bit limited to what you can put in as the inward facing gusset gets in the way, so here I have made it point out to give you a little more space, it has the added benefit of removing some of the bulk at the top too – enabling me to create a turnover at the top to show off the lovely reverse side.  In my sample I made a bit of an error as I didn’t think about the writing being upside down – so hopefully you will learn from my error if you have a directional pattern 🙂

In terms of the combination I was drawn back to the lovely Share what you love DSP and the Floral  Frames stamp set and co-ordinating Foliage Frames framelits – they are really turning out to be a go to combination especially when you add the circle punches.  I wasn’t sure about the black cord when I first saw it – but for projects such as these it works really well – and ties fabulously well.  You do need a decent hole punch to go through the layers but there are several on the market that are suitable.

Hope you are having fun crafting

  1. Lovely bag; delightful paper Heidi but the video is soooo soft. Can hardly hear your voice. Maybe because I am in Australia!!!!! Great bag though.

    1. I’m sorry, I’ll have to check my volume settings again… I’m not normally accused of being too quiet 🙂

      1. Thank you Heidi. A few of your videos have been very quiet but I put my ear against my screen and listen intensely. Loved the bag. Still think the birds on the internet lines are stealing your voice for themselves – yes all the way to Australia…. Thank you and I just love your teachings.
