I was looking through my project file recently and realised that although I have made these in years gone by, I have never actually shared how to on my blog, and as I was playing with my butterfly punch the two seemed to go together well – so here you go with a layered version, using not only the Butterfly Duet punch and coordinating Butterfly Gala Stamp set – but the beautiful DSP that you can choose for free in the current Sale a Bration offering

I love the colours in this range and love how Highland Heather combines with the Balmy Blue. When I was playing I wanted to show that a single punch can be used to create layers – just off-setting slightly or trimming a punch can create a quite different look.

So here are the dimensions

Card base 8 x 5 3/4 inches (14.5 x 20 cm) Scored on the long edge at 4 inches (10 cm)

Card layer 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 (14 x 9.5)

DSP layer 5 1/4 x 5 1/2 (13.5 x 9 cm)
