Quick and Easy

Family news

Hi everyone, just to let you know that there projects may be a little sporadic over the coming months. Sadly my Dad passed away unexpectedly last week and so I will be taking some time to sort out his affairs and to support my mum and my own children.

He had reached the ripe old age of 90 (almost 91) and until the last couple of years, was incredibly active in the church, wider village activities and many other activities in the area, from being a volunteer warden in the local woods, to playing golf and collecting for the British Legion Poppy Day appeal.

My boys have lost their wonderful Gramps who gave my eldest his love of sport and my youngest his love of all things practical, many hours were spent throwing and catching in the garden, and playing cricket in the lane. He supported both of them in their activities, whether that be standing on the side lines or watching archery competitions (not very exciting for a non-archer ūüôā )

Crafting has been proven to help with stress and mental health so I will still be creating, but I know that you lovely loyal followers will be understanding if the videos and instructions are not quite so numerous.
