Catalogue Showcase: One sheet mini album

Welcome back for another showcase day, and today I am focussing on the Perennial Essence suite. This comprises gorgeous DSP (think influences of Monet’s paintings of water lilies) with a stamp set (with co-ordinating punch) and pretty vellum (the usual Stampin’ Up! heavyweight variety …strong enough for lots of techniques!)

First is my version of the onstage sample – then we have a three pocket mini album – great for having in your handbag 🙂

This is my variation on the sample we made at onstage – not much different – just shortened the DSP section to give a larger border top and bottom – however I do love our Blackberry Blissh – so my DSP choice for this mini album reflects that love – although the one I make in the video Is so pretty too with the lighter pinks and yellow! The stamp set is so pretty and although I haven’t used the punch in todays project – it is going to be a useful one to have

Here is the mini album – three good sized pockets and space for journalling on the front – or for more pictures! I haven’t added too many layers – as I still wanted to be able to see the gorgeous floral images

I actually made a slight error in my video – I will give you two versions of the measurements – the first is for the version in the video – where the pocket is right to the crease…and the second is my preferred version (and the one you can see in teh background) where I adapted the one set of scoring so that there was a slight gap at the top of the pocket!makes it easier to get the inserts in and out – and also avoids the issue I had in the video of the pocket top catching in the crease
