I love to receive gift cards as a present ….it gives me the gift of shopping 🙂 but let’s be honest…the packaging for them is pretty uninspiring – so I like to pretty them up a little. I wasn’t happy with my original for this one – somehow the third large flap just didn’t work – but I am really pleased with how this turned out…and no die cutting required
This stamp set is one that didn’t catch my eye in the main catalogue at all…but once I saw samples…WOW what a lovely stamp set – and it looks good in ANY colour!
I have used one of my favourite combinations of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape – I actually had a pair of trousers that were Gorgeous Grape in my youth…(oh how I wish I was still that slim!) but it is still a colour I love – even if I can’t carry off wearing it as well!
The addition of a little Pool Party I think accents the flowers well, and I am enjoying Mossy Meadow too…I did not buy it when it was first introduced as an In Colour some years ago – but I am starting to use it a lot more – especially with some of the brighter colours.
You could use pretty much any punch for the edge of the gift card holder – from a simple circle to much fancier ones too, but the Everyday Label is such a great one to have – it goes well with so many of the others and can easily adapted/cut up to create lots of different labels too.Product List
