Well I hope you are having a relaxing weekend – and maybe for those of you working from home a chance to enjoy your home rather than feeling it is your workplace. Certainly I am looking forward to a time in the future when my workplace four walls is not my home.
That being said – I do appreciate the space I have at home, and that I am lucky enough still to have a job (even if I am envious of those furloughed and able to be paid to craft whenever they want). However, I am managing to get a little crafting in – and this paper with its pretty flowers inspired me to make this box. The Dressed Up paper is one I am certainly going to miss – with its mix of florals and feminine handbags, shoes and perfume bottles it is a great paper for lots of occasions. This box is another that is a real all purpose box – big enough to hold a host of items .
I love this new punch pair – in particular the way the Label me Fancy layers on to the front of the Label me Lovely….and the soft scallops on Label me Lovely are so pretty! I am delighted that Free as a Bird is going to be available for another year…..but get the DSP now if you love it along with the Lovely Lipstick ink and cardstock….supplies won’t last long!
When you make the box – just make sure you score the diagonals on the slightly larger (1-3/8) section of the box – otherwise it won’t hold closed on its own.
