So only a few short weeks until we have some lovely new colours to play with…however that also means you need to get your hands on any of the retiring colours you cannot live without!
This photo does not do the colour justice…it is my favourite strong pink as it is a richer colour than Melon Membo…it works so well with so many other colours. The stamp set is staying…just as well as I am using this sentiment in particular a lot at the moment 🙂
This is one of those cards that you can whip up in no time…truly simple stamping. With the darker colours it is a good idea to add a panel of white to the inside….unless of course you have some fab white or silver pens to write with of course!
I have just made a batch of these with a similar design for our local isolation support group to send out to those families being supported in the village…They have done a fabulous job of not only supporting people in isolation – but also collating a list of local shops and suppliers who are able to deliver…encouraging folks to shop local even when in lockdown 🙂 Love living in rural Warwickshire 🙂
