So I am not quite sure why I am feeling so festive at the moment….especially as I haven’t yet had a summer holiday….but I am certainly being inspired by the new festive ranges in the Autumn/Winter Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue
This one is a really easy treat box that would look great on anyone’s festive table, or to hand out to colleagues or co-workers…well when we get to see them face to face that is! It would be really easy to make a bunch of these to string up as decorations too. The lovely silver foil and white side of the paper catches the light so well and with 48 sheets in a pack you could create lots of these on a string.
The sparkle of silver in the two colour Baker’s Twine creates just enough when combined with the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper…. and easy to create a layered image with punches too – I have used the 1 1/2 inch circle with the now retired 1-3/4 punch – but it should work with a 1 3/8 scallop and 1 /12 punch.
This snowflake stampset it great too as it contains not only beautiful snowflake images, but really useful sentiments too…. including a Happy Hannukah too….often hard to get…along with other seasonal sentiments too. There are two full sheets of stamps …so don’t be fooled by the front cover of the stamp set….have a look in the catalogue to see the real sizes…and of course give me a shout if you don’t have a copy 🙂
