So like many of my crafty friends, part of this year has been spent creating face coverings for myself, family and friends…and so when I made one to send to a friend I couldn’t resist making a slimline box to fit it into that would fit in my slimline box of sunshine that i created. The Paper Pumpkin kit really is fab…lots of useful textural images aswell as really useful sentiments too
The Box of Sunshine idea comes from the lovely Sara Gardner CEO of Stampin’ Up!…the idea is to create a box of sunshine coloured items to send to someone to cheer their day. You could use your empty Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine box – or the Stampin’ Up! mini paper pumpkin boxes, but as I hadn’t finished making my kit (and had forgotten to order the mini boxes) I had to use some of the large letter boxes I had to hand….hence the need for slim ideas!
Anyway the stamp set in the kit and the cards formed the basis for the colour palette – and this time it was a splash of red in the form of Poppy Parade.
