So I had lots of comments on my large wreath HERE as well as messages asking me how I constructed it. Well…they take about 40 minutes to make…so a little too long for a video, so I thought it might be easier to show you the process with my small version
Although time consuming to make, they are worth the effort as they look stunning. This one would also be a perfect size to frame and bring out year after year. You could also add in other colours too… I have seen purple poppies added to recognise all the animals who died in service, and blue poppies to remember fallen police officers.
As there is a single die for each part, but multiple of each needed, I found the best way to do this was to cut all the card I needed first – this also has the benefit that with one pass through the big shot you can cut all the pieces needed for one each of the flowers and the leaves. I would recommend the use of the take your pick die brush to quickly and easily remove your detailed die cuts. Fine tip glue is an essential too either the Stampin’ Up! glue or another glue with a fine tip dispenser.
Hope you get some crafty time today
