So back with another of my house shaped treat boxes – and this one is the gable fronted house – to which I have added a little strip of coloured card for the roof.
The size of this one is perfect for a single tealight or maybe some Reece’s pieces if they take your fancy?
I certainly had fun with these boxes – I think we sometimes forget the simple pleasure of sitting and colouring – and using the stamparatus to stamp multiple houses quickly makes that easy too…. Of course you could make this a deeper box too – if you wanted to gift something larger – but I was trying to keep a similar proportion on them all so that they could make a village street on my windowsill (now our lounge is all minimalistic I don’t have a fire surround to display things on!)
Stampin Blends are a dream to work with for colouring – and the use of a color lifter to either blend colours – or remove any excess – or add highlights mean that it is never far away when I am using my Blends (and I might just have more than one!)
