So the original version I saw of this was created by Doris Pichler in Austria on her blog HERE but there are all sorts of sizes and creators out there – originally this was an origami closure – but it is so easy to do with a trimmer and embossing tool (and you only get the score lines you need too) My jar is about 10.5 cm / 4-1/8 inches tall to give you a sense of the size….lots of space for all sorts in this box
With this version, I have just used the strips at the bottom to hold it closed – but if you want a ‘neater’ finish a die cut circle is a simple way – the beauty of using the strips is that it is easier to get the shape right by lining up the strips. I have a couple more versions in the pipeline so will use the circle closure on one of those.
You may have guessed that I rather like Snowflake Wishes…. I think this stamp set works perfectly for this one.
