I hope you have chance to enjoy some time off over Christmas – it certainly hasn’t had the usual amount of family gatherings that would usually take place – although as a small family we don’t have big gatherings. Still trying to minimise the exposure of my mum and mum in law to any risk has also impacted on our visits.
I still like to send a thank you card – and this one is perfect with a pretty ombre effect that looks great in any of the strong colours in the Stampin’ Up! colour families. You could easily adapt it to whatever the recipients favourite colour is too 🙂
I love feathers ( I used to have peacock feathers that I had collected in my bedroom as a child) and although is not quite as swirly as those – it works really well as a quill pen ( and yes I remember making a quill pen at some point on visit to one of the many gorgeous historical sites near my home)
I love how our markers make partial stamping to easy too….although you could use a post it note to mask and then an ink pad….it is so much easier with the markers.
Well, while you are reading this I will be busy prepping the next suite inspirations…..and January will see the arrival of a new suite in the January to June catalogue…..and there are some really pretty suites too.
So, relax and enjoy some simple stamping
