Dragonfly Garden: Diagonal Lid Lock Box

I had a great craft along day with some fellow demonstrators a few weeks ago where we made a version of this box inspired by Claudia Maser – kreativblogbyclaudi I made a much smaller version of this style of box HERE just big enough for two Ferrero. This is a BIG box – it is just under 13cm square and would easily fit 4 or 5 cards and envelopes.

Although the classic label is discontinued – you can get a similar aperture for the lock mechanism using the smallest of the stitched rectangles.

  1. Heidi, I love your box and would love to try to make one. However, I miss the measurements in inches you used to provide. Any chance you can give the dimensions in inches?

    1. Sorry. I do provide inches for the vast majority of my projects… sometimes they just don’t work as well in inches … and sometimes I just don’t have time to work it out and make it in inches. This is one of those occasions. The best way to start is to use an inches to cms conversion and make a draft in copy paper/scrap card and then adjust where needed
