So here is a slightly different book fold card and as I had to make a sympathy card recently, it is annual catalogue products I turned to.  I wasn’t happy with the first version so stamped off in my video, which gives a better effect to set off the die cut.

I love jade greens with navy and thought the alternative of Bermuda Bay went well with the night of Navy and Blue and white of the Floral Boutique DSP.

Materials

Card for cardbase 30 x 15 cm (12 x 6 inches) Scored on long edge at 10 and 20 cm (4 and 8 inches)

Card for behind cuts 20 x 15 cm (8 x 6 inches)

instructions

With the short edge at the top (portrait) cut at 2.5  cm ( 1 inch) from 2.5 to 17.5 cm (1 – 7 inches)

Repeat at 12 .5 cm (5 inches)

Rotate to landscape and score between the cut lines at 12.5, 15, 25, 27.5 cm (5, 6, 10, 11 inches)

For front of card:

DSP Floral Boutique 14.5 x 9.5 (5 3/4 x 3-3/4)

Constrast Card layer 7.5 x 12 cm (4-3/4 x 3 inches)

Whisper White for stamping and for die cut 11.5 x 7 cm (4-1/2 x 2-3/4 inches)

Panels for inside

Narrow sections ( two pieces needed) DSP 2 x 9.5 cm (3/4 x 3-3/4)

Wider section (two pieces of each size needed) Contrast Card 9.5 x 4.5 cm (3-3/4 x 1-3/4) Whisper White for stamping 9 x 4 cm (3-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches)
