So how about this for a fun card?
I love the way that this has an opening and then an easel too. You could decorate as much or as little as you like on those panels – but I couldn’t resist this little forest of topiary trees. I would love my Bay Tree to look as pretty….but mine is very much more of a bush! The Vertical Greetings is one of the few stamp sets that have these tall and narrow sentiments, but in the one stamp set you have pretty much all occasions covered. If you are starting out and haven’t yet got all of the ink pads, buying the markers is an inexpensive way of getting those colours.
I used the ‘thumping’ technique demonstrated by the lovely Michelle Last HERE to add a bit of variation to the foliage, but solid colours would still look pretty (as you will see in the video I forgot to ‘thump’ one of mine 🙂
I think both the Garden Green and Cajun Craze layers work well, and might try some pretty trees to represent blossoms too….watch this space!
Anyway…on with the dimensions so you can recreate your own version
