How about this for a fun card?  I have been itching to have a play with this stamp set – not least of all because of the super sentiments I can use for my crafting buddies, but also because it lends itself to ‘sew’ many different hobbies – can you forgive the pun?  The pens would make a great masculine card, while the paintbrushes would be great for anyone with artistic abilities. the scissors would be great for sewers and as I have said already – any crafter would appreciate the sentiments – and for those of you who sell your cards, it has the (c) Stampin’ Up stamp too so that you can be compliant with the Angel policy.

When we made this in class everyone thoroughly enjoyed the colouring in too…I’ve never known them so quiet!  Mind you when I was making the sample I was sat in a field watching archery and have to admit to having found it very relaxing too!

To colour the images I used both Aquapainters and Stampin’ Write markers – but that’s because I only had limited supplies to hand…even though my two bags full felt like it contained my craft room 🙂

The beauty of this card is its simplicity and adaptability for any stamp set or DSP that you have.  I used the Oh So Eclectic paper and took inspiration from the colours in that, this time choosing narrow 1/8 borders (3mm) for some of the panels which worked well.  The reverse is a pieced together panel using a small strip of leftover DSP and a bit of card alongside the Whisper White – to try and reduce the bulk of the card.  I have to admit I gutted the large panel of Peekaboo Peach too.
